Plan Development Assignments

The development of an Animal Food Safety Plan, outlined below, aligns with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations and HACCP principles. Participants who complete the Plan Development Assignments and the HACCP curriculum will earn a Texas A&M University Certificate of Completion with an International HACCP Alliance seal and members of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists are eligible to earn 8 continuing education units.

Step 5: List preventive control management components using the CL, Monitoring, Corrective Action form (5) and Recordkeeping and Verification Form(6)

Step 6: Create prerequisite program table for other hazards not requiring a preventive control (7)


Week # 4
Step 7: Complete Food Safety Summary Form (8)
Step 8: Create a Table of Contents
